Three Anti-Social Skills to Improve Your Writing
Nadia Kalman - TED-Ed
Writing is struggle for many people. One of the most common complaints from those who aren't good writers is that they can't write but what they really mean is they don't know how to or they are not creative enought. But that's not it either.
While being creative is a part of being a good writer it isn't the only thing. Creativity is a skill that must be trained like anything else, skating, throwing a baseball or hitting a golf ball. It just takes hours of repetitive practice.
Just like people hear others when they are having a conversations, most good writers can hear, in their head, what they are putting down on paper or in today's world writing on a screen. The more times they do that the better they become.
