When you really think about this is exactly the model Bill Belichick follows. He only talks about things he understands. He only talks about football and the x's and o's of the game. It's a running joke in his press conferences when a reporter asks about a player's injury, he blandly says "that falls to our great medical staff." He knows football and how to coach the game, so that's what he does.
Stick to what you know and excel in that.
